Whistleblower Attorney in Jersey City
$2 Million Whistleblower Settlement. We Only Represent Employees.
Arcé Law Group has stood exclusively with employees since 2011, handling whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage violations throughout New Jersey. We never represent employers. That singular focus means every resource we bring to a case is directed at protecting the worker, not the company.
Our representation is built to be accessible: free, confidential consultations with no obligation, and a contingency fee structure that means you pay nothing unless we first secure a settlement or verdict on your behalf. We represent employees at every level, from entry-level workers to senior executives.
If you believe your employer retaliated against you for reporting misconduct, call us at (866) 426-7182 to speak with our whistleblower attorney in a free, confidential consultation.
Why Jersey City Employees Choose Arcé Law Group
Results matter in retaliation litigation. We have secured a $2 million whistleblower retaliation settlement and a $2.2 million race and retaliation verdict, among other significant recoveries. Attorney Bryan Arce is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a distinction held by fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers and reserved for attorneys who have won million- and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements.
Before founding the firm, Bryan Arce served as a Judicial Intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for the Honorable Erin M. Stilp. That experience shaped how we build cases. Understanding how the agency evaluates retaliation and discrimination matters directly informs litigation strategy.
Of Counsel attorney Jesse S. Weinstein focuses part of his practice on whistleblower litigation and has helped recover nearly $50 million in settlements on behalf of employees and whistleblowers. His work in this area adds significant depth to the representation we bring to every Jersey City retaliation matter.
Multi-State Coverage for Jersey City Professionals
Many Jersey City employees work for employers with operations in New York, Pennsylvania, or other states. We’re licensed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., and Georgia, and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey along with multiple other federal courts. That reach is particularly valuable for professionals who work across state lines or have recently relocated.

“The best decision of my life was to walk through the doors of the Arce Law Group.”
The best decision of my life was to walk through the doors of the Arce Law Group. There is so much to say and not enough time or characters to fully describe my satisfaction, but overall it was a life changing experience. Christine, Bryan, and Cayetana treated me like I was family. They were open, honest, empathetic, and extremely supportive. Truly a dream team. They were sweet and authentically caring to the point that I never felt alone. Their attention to detail was on point throughout the entire process, and I got the results that I was hoping for. They exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond to advocate for me. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because the way they championed on my behalf was out of this world. I would not hesitate to refer their services.- F M -

Where Jersey City Whistleblower Claims Are Filed
A CEPA claim filed by a Jersey City employee is typically heard in the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Hudson Vicinage, located at the William J. Brennan Jr. Courthouse in Jersey City. Civil cases involving more than $20,000 are heard in the Civil Part of the Law Division of Superior Court; smaller matters proceed in the Special Civil Part. When federal claims are also at issue, cases may be filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, where our firm is admitted to practice.
Recognizing Retaliation After Reporting Misconduct
Retaliation isn’t always a termination letter. Employers sometimes respond to internal complaints through subtler actions designed to push an employee out or punish them without creating obvious evidence. Common forms include demotion, reassignment to undesirable shifts, sudden negative performance reviews after years of positive ones, denial of bonuses or promotions, exclusion by supervisors or coworkers, and conditions intended to force a resignation.
Protected activity doesn’t require a formal complaint to a government agency. Reporting misconduct to a supervisor or an internal compliance office can qualify as protected whistleblowing activity under CEPA. If your employer’s treatment of you changed after you raised a concern, that timeline is worth discussing with a whistleblower lawyer.
